Enrichment Opportunities
Grow beyond the classroom
Sixth Form at Cedars Martin isn’t just about grades — it’s about building confidence, leadership, and real-world skills that prepare you for life after 18. Whether you're heading to university, an apprenticeship, or straight into work, our enrichment programme helps you stand out.
The Duke of Edinburgh's Award
Many of our Sixth Formers take part in the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, developing resilience, teamwork, and leadership through volunteering, expeditions, and skills challenges.
Clubs and Societies
Our student-led clubs reflect your interests — and as a small college, you’ll have more chances to take the lead. Recent societies include Chess Club and the Social Committee, which organises events like the Macmillan Coffee Morning and Sixth Form socials.
Trips
Learning goes beyond the classroom. Join curriculum-based trips to universities, theatres, and research centres — plus international trips like skiing and the Berlin History tour, offered through the Lionheart Trust.
Student Council & Leadership Roles
Each year, students elect a Student President to represent their voice. You can also take on roles like Social Chair or Fundraising Chair, helping shape the Sixth Form experience.
