Celebrating Post-16 Success
Excited students arrived at Cedars Martin Sixth Form this morning, as our brilliant Year 13 students collected a commendable set of A-level and Level 3 outcomes.
We are thrilled to report an average grade of C across both Level 3 and A-level courses capping a fantastic year of progress across our sixth form.
The percentage of entries which achieved A-level grades A* - C also increased from last year.
Highlighting the benefits of smaller class sizes, which results in more individualised teaching, there were also countless success stories.
Haresh, for example, achieved an A*, 2 As and a B and is planning to take a year out before applying to university in 2027. Katie is heading to the University of Hertfordshire to study Sociology after achieving two Bs and a C. Also celebrating was Naomi, who will take up a place to study Biomedical Sciences at the University of Derby after securing a B, a C and a Distinction* in Health and Social Care.
Meanwhile, Rishie is set to enter the exciting legal world, studying Law at the University of Reading, while Gracie is off to study Music Business Event Management at the BIMM Music Institute in Birmingham. Finally, Akwo will study Mental Health Nursing at the University of Coventry.
